Art Of The Title

TitleWe found a kick ass link today thanks to our friends at ropeofsilicon.

Art Of The Title is a website that simply showcases the title sequences for different films. The layout is in the fashion of a blog, but you can select films by name and/or use the search function. It’s cool to go through the list, I have forgotten so many of them and you forget how much work goes into the title sequence. When you watch a number of them as stand alone shorts you get to appreciate them for what they are.

The intro to Bullitt is badass; feel free to go through their list and share your favorite with us!

Thanks again to ropeofsilicon for introducing is to this site. It is a fantastic time waster and a cool resource for film fans!

Thanks for this post/link Doug. We like to talk about opening title sequences all the time on the podcast and this is the perfect place to go (other than YouTube to be reminded of the good ones. Awesome.
