You wouldn’t need to explain what you mean by “pray” if you knew how to spell it. It’s true you don’t need to be a good writer to succeed as a Hollywood writer; and even arguable that being a good writer will only hasten disenchantment and exacerbate bitterness once Hollywood works its cruel magic. Still, there’s no reason to let the hinderweb win without a fight. Learn more words, and show them you love them by spelling them rightly: at least you’ll have the satisfaction of being a better writer.
