Hey there folks. Sorry for no podcast this past Friday, we actually did record one, but the audio toasted so we decided not to post it. But we are back with a vengeance now. The Oscars are now well behind us, a new dawn breaks and the sun rises.

At any rate, take some time to download or stream this installment of Uncut as Doug and I discuss:

1) Indiana Jones Box Office Potential

2) New MMZ movie “Never Back Down”

3) The 10th anniversary of the ultimate fan film “Troops”

4) The sad passing of Jeff Healy

5) What is and isn’t Censorship and the new Canadian government rules

6) Pirates 4 in 2011?

7) The failure of Semi Pro

8) Beowulf DVD

All this and a few things more.

    haha, nice rhyme there, John

  3. Melbye says:

Domestically Indy will be number 1
Worldwide it has a chance, but it will face fierce competition from Harry Potter and even Prince Caspian

  4. Kristina says:

I AM tired of the Will Ferrell shtick. I love Will, but enough’s enough. He’s a one-trick pony in need of euthanasia.

  5. Michael says:

Personally, I just think the duo were toasted and not the audio, but agree with pretty much all points presented in the post.

  6. FilmNerdJamie says:

I actually think INDY IV will break $1 billion worldwide.

  9. DON says:

The reason why this movie got 200 million downloads is not because of Indiana Jones title alone.

You need to remember that Shia Labeouf has a huge fanbase now. All kids know him after transformers and so any movie he stars in appeals to kids and teens.

The movie also has legions of indiana jones fans supporting it and well it is an action + adventure movie too.

All that combined = 200 million downloads.

  10. DON says:

    What the fuck?

You should have talked about galactus. The show would have become much more epic.

Also Galactus and silver surfer rule.

    Fuck all haters.

What is exactly the younger demographic 18-10. I fit in there and all my friends love indy. The only reason i think super man beat batman was because the last batman movies by joel sucked; and there hadn’t been a new super movie since 1983. Also it’s the firs movie with someone either than reeves. TDK will definitely break the top 3 of 08.

  12. Franklin T Marmoset says:

    Hey, guys.

This is just a quick note to say thanks for the podcast. I’m a recent convert to it (and to this site), and I’ve been enjoying it a lot.

    Keep up the good work.

    Frank.

  13. THUORN says:

if at all possible i would like to be able to d/l the video version of uncut… you think it could be reimplemented?

  14. vader hater says:

I wanna get the Beowulf Director’s Cut. Give me a whopper. That’s my new saying. [in a sqeamish voice]GIVE MY A WHOPPER!
