Hey there guys! This is your new installment of The Movie Blog Uncut. Sorry for the lack of shows the last 2 weeks. Doug and I were in Texas at the SXSW festival, and then I got sick as hell… Doug and I tried to record a podcast last week, but we had to stop half way through because I was coughing and hacking all the way through it. I’m still sick… but much better! Sadly Doug isn’t here today, but I am joined by Miss Serena Whitney!

Um, I’m new to this podcast thing but is it supposed to be only 4:26 long? If so, how do I get the complete version? Sorry if this is a stupid question.
I never even knew about Drilbit Taylor until last week. It’s a movie I’ll check out when it’s on TV or in the bargain bin for 5 bucks. The kids look very annoying in the trailer.
I’m not liking the trailers for Speed Racer. Too cartoonish. But hey it’s for kids, Death Race with Jason Statham is coming out this year so thats something I will hold out for.
Liking the new design, it’s sleak, fast and sexy.
Damn John, you don’t sound good. Pass out on nyquil or something. Feel better man.
After a month we get a new podcast!?!?! Please do it more often!
Nevermind, I guess my home computer isn’t working.
Where they making out, or was John just constantly eating the whole way through?

Man John, I was holding my breath as you were talking about Speed Racer. I thought you were about to say it looked awesome. That movie looks completely and utterly FUBAR(fucked up beyond all recognition)…which means it’ll either tank hard, or be a HUGE hit thanks to dumbass kids nagging their parents to see it.

Couldn’t agree more, I found this very off-putting and ultimately caused me to give up on the podcast this week.

It’s either that, or no show.
I know you have already responded John, but honestly that lozenging was making me sick. Take care of yourself. If you are sick, we can wait for you to get better. I really wanted to listen, I usually love the show, but geez.
I agree that speed racer will be a disaster. It just makes me want to stick my head out of the window and yell “Iceberg right ahead!”
