Pathology is a film that I’ve been quite excited about for almost a year now. As most of you know I had a chance to visit the set last summer, and at that time I was shown about 20 minutes worth of footage from the flick that absolutely blew me away. The movie is now set for an April 18th release and you should mark it down on your calendar!
For those of you who may not know the general idea of Pathology: “A group of young doctors form a little group to play a sick game. They each take turns killing some victim, and then the other doctors in the group have to try to figure out how the person got killed. Milo is one of the doctors. How fricking cool does that sound?!?!?!”
I got my hands on the Redband trailer (which is the best one) and I present it to you now:

Awful acting, awful dialogue and an absolutely ludicrous “plot”.
Basically this “redband trailer” is relying on the minimal gore to appeal to the Saw crowd, and some tit shots to appeal to the randy teens.
I’ll pass on this rubbish, thank you very much.

I agree with Philly and James. I’m sure there could have been a tamer capture, or at least, a photoshopped covering of the breast shot.
As for the trailer itself. It is what it is.
There’s apparently a really good reason why ‘Pathology’ had gotten pushed around in a schedule. It doesn’t look horrible as a film, but at the same time, I fail to understand the hype over it. I could say I would skip it, but the distributor might decide
I was not a big fan of ‘Crank’, far from it, but I could see some potential from the filmmakers. While they only wrote Pathology, I wonder if the scenes presented here and in other trailers would be better.
Or…maybe not.

Yeah I was gonna mention the snapshot too but didn’t - I think it’s a bad judgment call to put gratuitous nudity up on a website like this.
Some people mentioned the forced acting - I didn’t feel the acting was *as* forced as the previous trailers showed us. In fact, I feel the trailer was a lot better than what was shown before, but what was the point of showing us multiple lesbianism and sex scenes? What does that have to do with the plot?
Like I said, I’m more interested in this movie now than I was before, but I still think this movie will bomb and people will view this an another torture porn film, a la Saw. Which they sort of have been going for in the trailers, I think - most of the stuff we’ve seen in the trailers has really just been for shock value.

I don’t think that anyone here is going to stop reading TMB because of any of the above-mentioned “R-rated” material, but I (along with many others) often surf this site while at work and that image would have definitely gotten me into trouble if I’d loaded up TMB at work that day and someone else saw it. It’s not about being offended, it’s about having stuff unexpectedly showing up on a site that you regularly check that goes against your company’s surfing guidelines. Forgive us for not wanting to risk disciplinary action in the workplace, smart guy.

Just a heads up, the comments section is for discussion about the topic at hand. In this case, the trailer. If you have a “complaint” about the image I decide to use in the post, then the appropriate place for you to message me about it is via email, not the comments section.
Having said that, as someone else has already said, this is not a “family friendly” blog. never has been and never will be. If (on the very RARE occasion) I feel an image with nudity best symbolizes a post I’m putting up, then I won’t hesitate using an image with nudity (but like I said, it happens like maybe 2x a year).
