Mamma Mia Trailer To Debut On Dancing With The Stars

Art.Drummer.ApThe trailer for Mamma Mia will air during Dancing With The Stars this week. We get wind of this debut thanks to our friends at comingsoon:

The first full trailer for this summer’s musical romantic comedy Mamma Mia! will have its exclusive broadcast debut during the second night of the two-night season premiere of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” on Tuesday, March 18. It will be shown during the program, which airs from 9:00 p.m. EDT until 10:30 p.m. EDT.

I hate reality TV as a rule and Dancing With The Stars is certainly no exception. I think the show fucking sucks and think enthusiasts of dance would better serve their time watching professional competitors, rather than actors who are between shitty sitcoms and looking for cocaine money. For those of you that want to see the Mama Mia trailer early – you will have to trudge through this show. I think I will wait for it to hit You Tube thankyouverymuch.

On a sombre note, Ola Brunkert, the drummer for Abba died today after he fell through a window while gardening. This is a sad day for fans of the supergroup and the Spanish isle of Mallorca is a place of woe tonight.

That’s IT! I’ve suspected for a long time that the critics are not only culture snobs but totally without soul. Now I have proof. Haven’t they learned that trying that hard to be ‘cool’ is sooooo ‘uncool’. Against all advice my daughter and I went to see Mamma Mia. It was WONDERFUL. The critics just didn’t get the point! So what, Brosnan isn’t a Pavarotti – he enjoyed himself and got the message over perfectly and Meryl Steep should surely get an Oscar – her rendition of The Winner takes it All was heartbreakingly poignant. My only complaint is that I wasn’t one of the production crew – what fun they must have had. Thanks to all those concerned for bringing a huge smile and the occasional tear into life. Goodness knows, we needed it!

  2. This trailer was released ages ago, In fact, I seen it before Walk Hard and Definately Maybe when they we’re released in Australia.

The trailer looks bloody terrible I might add. After the trailer, my girlfriend and I looked at each other and we’re red faced and embarrassed for all of the performers in the trailer. It’s looked terribly embarassingly bad!

I’ve written this off already, having said that. I do like musicals and it still couldn’t get me.
