My good friend Nick over at Empire Magazine gave me the heads up that they’ve got an Indiana Jones Issue coming out in May. This cover shot got sent to me (Thanks James). I just keep getting more and more excited about this movie.

Yes, they’ve outdone themselves with a special Indy issue (picked it up yesterday). It comes with a booklet containing retrospective articles written by the actual crew of the series. It’s got me more hyped for the film than any of the actual marketing.
Indy has that “old man pants” look going on.
ford has definitely been airbrushed.

The cover for MAY? I subscribe to the magazine and I was under the impression that a) it was a subscribe exclusive and b) that it’s the April issue.

I could not wait to get my hands on the May issue of Empire featuring Indiana Jones on the cover. I visited my local Barnes & Noble almost daily, anticipating its arrival. Then I received a shock to learn that Iron Man, not Indy was on the cover and was the main feature story. I can’t imagine Iron Man being a bigger event than the return of Harrison Ford as the famed archeologist after 19 years. I desperately want the Indy issue. Please tell me how I can get it. HELP!

I don’t know what’s up with your store. I suggest visiting another bookstore, and if that doesn’t work, go to empireonline.com to specifically order the Indy issue.
