Frank Miller Blogs About The Spirit

FrankmillerFrank Miller has recently blogged about his current project The Spirit on the official website. We get the heads up thanks to out friends at comingsoon:

Will Eisner’s The Spirit writer/director Frank Miller has updated the movie’s official website with a fourth Production Blog, in which he talks about the adaptation of The Spirit’s main love interest Ellen Dolan from the pages of Eisner’s comic series, to Miller’s vision on film. The character is played by the always great Sarah Paulson (“Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip”) in the movie.

The Spirit web-page looks like it is being continuously updated with pictures, news pieces and blog entries. For those of you that are fans of Frank Miller and/or The Spirit – you may want to check the site out on a regular basis. The Spirit is set for release January 16, 2009 and we will be certain to keep you up to speed on the progress!

  1. Frank Miller Blog,

I think I met a College Guy in 1991 at UNCG that Dated Frank Miller’s Sister! I’ll like The Spirit on DVD Widescreen, and really Enjoy it!

  2. i just dont understand why frank miller has his movies coming out in black and white…why is he afriad of show live colourful motion pictures?
black and white movies of his are very, very painful to watch and a punishment to the eye.
i thought 300 was an improvement over his black and white motion pictures of the past.

  3. 30 Days of Night is actually a comic book by Steve Niles, not Frank Miller. Anyway, I’m looking forward to this, since I love the Spirit. Frank Miller knew Will Eisner very well, and probably is the best person for the job. I look forward to it.

  4. I disagree. Frank’s vision has given us Sin City, 300, 30 Days of Night, etc…. I’ll reserve judgement until we see a trailer or an exclusive still
