I don’t think Pixar would if asked. Not mainly because Bone would be to violent, but Pixar has been making only original films (besides sequels of course) for almost 20 years. I don’t think they’d adapt any books into movies.

they had BETTER make this movie good and exactly like the books or it will turn out to be like the movie “the never ending story” with HORRIBLE GRAPHICS and WEIRD AND COMPLETELY OUTRAGEOUS VOICES. oh, and it had better be in 2-D or else someones getting fired

2-D is simply a must. I know Jeff Smith would not put up for some cheap CG.
Also, I really hope they get the voices correctly.
This has the potential of being a great epic, or failing miserably. Being a long time and loyal fan, I for one vote for the first.
