Anne Heche has reportedly replaced Jennifer Jason Leigh in the new comedy, ‘Spread’ starring Ashton Kutcher. Rumor has it Leigh’s departure from the film is due to the fact she might be pregnant.

The film, which Kutcher’s production company is handling, will see the former “That 70’s Show” and Heche mix it up in the tale of a womanizer and the lover he scorns.
Wow…I was just going to write that was odd casting, considering their age difference, and then I slapped myself in the head consider who Ashton Kutcher’s wife in real life is. Hmm…I can’t say I’m very excited about this news. IMDB is reporting that this is a sex comedy, and I think I have had my fair share of enduring raunchy Ashton Kutcher comedies. However, I’ve seen a few “scorned lover” comedies that made me giggle. I’m hoping this is a mix between ‘Hexed’ and ‘Mr.Wrong.’ (Which starred Anne Heche’s ex-lover and “claim to fame”, Ellen Degeneres) ‘Spread’ is set to come out early next year.
For some reason, I’m sensing this movie is going to have a limited release and an early DVD release date. Your thoughts?
