The problem with films like these are that the people who make them seem to ignore the fans, as they claim they are fans themselves… Bull. I am the biggest alien and predator fan i know and i could have easily made a better film than the last 2. These people need to go back to the good old days and stop thinking about money. They need to start thinking like directors such as James Cameron and Christopher Nolan. These directors think more “what do people want and what will be cool”. The original alien and predator movies were made with the geandure of the last generation’s cinema and a sense of class and a “popcorn movie” ( to quote John Mctiernan) style of film making that modern cinema lacks. So cone on people… What happened to films being made with passion and with dignaty to the genre and previous films?!

Why the third installment would be necessary or needed? At the end of the movie, the guy delivers the predator weapon to Ms. Yutani. The chairman of Weiland/Yutani corporation…Remember them, the “company”? So yes, it would be a good sequel if it is done right and not on the cheap. Remember the original comic book or AVP where they were ranchers on another world? They can also do a sequel using that format. Its not a dead franchise, they just need help keeping it true to the darkhorse comics AVP.

Honestly first AVP was horrible. They were going to make the first one rated R but somehow they changed it to PG-13. AVPR was awesome! I actually enjohyed watching it. I would love to see a predator movie where it takes in their home planet! Rodriguez make it happen!

How about Predator’s home planet is under attack and human satellites in the future detects some massive creatures and send massive armies and they get stuck in the middle of the greatest battle!

make another one dear lord make another 1 i own both movies on dvd the first on was better than the second but it wasnt that bad what people make out it to be so you all who dont like it can go shhot yourselfs make another predalien please or you could bring back the alien queen that was throwen into the water from the first one but please make another avp please love all alien,predator and avp series
