Starship Troopers 3 Trailer

Well guys, the moment you all been waiting for is FINALLY here! (*note sarcasm)  The Starship Troopers 3:Marauder is online for you all to witness. Casper Van Dien reprises his role as Johnny Rico and is teamed up with Jolene Blalock and my number one celebrity crush, Boris Kodjoe. (The only reason why I would even ATTEMPT to watch this movie.)

Comments on other sites have already proved that you should go in with extremely low expectations when watching this trailer.

Go over to Shocktillyoudrop.com to watch the trailer and tell me if it’s as horrific as everybody is making it out to be.

  1. I have to say…I thought it looked like the original.

No, seriously, the first one has, what are now, dodgy effects, and even dodgier lines…this one looks to be more in that spirit.

I loved the original so this is a must-have for me…although it probably won’t be as good as the pure AWESOME of the TV series.

  2. Hey its better than hell boy thats not saying much sorry John i just thought it was cheesy for all the wrong reasons Starship Troopers is cheesy in all the right reasons hell yea that girl is hot too.

  3. Wow. For a straight to DVD movie, it doesn’t look half bad. It doesn’t look half good either, but I’ll rent it. Why not? Looks like fun. Good to see Casper Van Dien getting some work.

  4. Holy crap.

There is a fine line between “so bad its good” and “so bad that Rob Schneider movies look good”

If someone told me this was a fan film made in some geek’s basement on his new computer, I would have thought it was alright. But really… this got a green light?

  5. If only they had N.P.H. (Neil Patrick Harris, a.k.a. Doogie Howser and Barney from “How I Met Your Mother”) come back to reprise his role, that would be awesome. I’m kind of with the others that enjoyed the cheesy feeling of the first because I loved that about it. This looks so campy and sci-fi that it just boils over with fun gruesomeness.

  6. “I’m from Buenos Aires, and I say kill ’em all!”

Oh memories. There’s only one new Starship Troopers movie i want to see and that’s the one that Pixar decides to make (when they branch out into more adult stuff):)

  7. I once read this review of the first film, which was not very good, but stated basically that the movie was kinda cool and just as it was starting to get good, it ended, which seems to suggest that they ran out of money. Which I always thought to be an interesting theory. Anyways, I thought the first one kicked ass. This one does look pretty cheesy, but I’d still like to see it.

  8. The first film was utter genius that few people got. The second film was a big steaming pile of shit.
The only reason I’m giving this a chance is because Ed Neumeier is writing and directing and the trailer made it look like they were back to the brilliant fascist ideology that they made fun of in the first film
I do hope that those blue screen shots were not final though, those looked terrible.

  9. Doesn’t look awful. Cheesy like the first film…but on purpose. Wasn’t the 2nd film straight to DVD? At least they got a character from the first to return (if he wasn’t in the 2nd which I don’t think he was). Tho I doubt he has anything better to do.

  10. as long as they keep wmakign starship trooper movies, i will keep watching them.

we need more movies where futuristic armies battle alien species on distant planets.
