Rachel Weisz goes back to Egypt

Rachel Weisz looks to be going back to the inspiration of the Mummy films. No, not another action comedy with Brendan Fraser, but rather back to Ancient Egypt – NOT the Mummy at all.Yahoo reports:

The untitled English-language project, which has been shrouded under a veil of secrecy, concerns a slave who falls in love with his mistress Hypatia (Weisz). Oscar Isaac, who played Joseph in “The Nativity Story,” is set as Orestes, who has an unrequited love for Hypatia.

There is literally nothing out there about this movie, but it has me all curious about it. Rachel does have a striking presence when all dolled up in that whole Egyptian look. It really suits her.Sounds like we will be waiting for more info. Like a title.

Rachel Weisz is easily one of the most stunning women alive, I’d watch her in anything…

The River God by Wilbur Smith would have made a great movie. We’ll see about this one.
