Judd Apatow Enters Five Year Engagement

Apatow has entered into Five Year Engagement with some familiar faces. No, he didn’t sign a contract over 5 years, but at this rate he might as well. Its working.

Looks like Judd Apatow figured out a way to clone himself. He seems to be in 12 places at once now! Is there anything this guy ISNT doing right now? So, Apatow, Stoller and Segel are pushing their little-boy-beds together again to craft another comedy.

, there’s a new one on the horizon. Variety reports that Judd Apatow, Nick Stoller and Jason Segel are teaming up again with Universal Pictures for Five Year Engagement. They are fresh off their last collaboration, the upcoming Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Segel and Stoller will once again co-write the script, with Segel reassuming leading man duties. Apatow will produce with Shauna Robertson. Not surprisingly, it is another raunchy comedy about a couple, this time charting the ups and downs of one that is engaged to be married.

Personally I can’t wait for Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I can say I would watch anything with Kristen Bell in it. (Be sure to check out Reefer Madness. She sings.)

Apatow’s comedies will be lined up on my Dvd Collection shelf for years to come and the footprint it takes up keeps getting bigger and bigger. Some of my favourite comedies of the last 5 years have all been his movies. And I don’t even mind that his wife keeps getting roles in it since she’s pretty fun too!
