Hugo Weaving joins the Wolfman

I have yet to hear much about the premise of The Wolfman aside from the obvious themed Werewolf movie, but it looks like Benicio Del Toro and Emily Blunt have a new co-worker. Hugo Weaving.

Comingsoon says:

Weaving (“The Matrix” and “The Lord of the Rings” trilogies) will play Det. Aberline. Del Toro will play the hirsute title character and Anthony Hopkins his dad. Blunt has been cast as the female lead in the project, which Joe Johnston will direct.

Somehow his look just screams “authority” to me.

He always seems to play the frontman, the leader, the central figure. And he just oozes the right charisma for the job. So for him to play a cop in Wolfman makes sense.
