Hank Azaria Joins Cast Of Night At The Museum: 2

Hank AzariaIt looks like Hank Azaria will be joining Ben and Amy in Night At The Museum: 2. We get the scoop today from the legendary caves of Yahoo:

Hank Azaria will play an Eqyptian pharaoh in Ben Stiller’s “Night at the Museum” sequel. “Night at the Museum 2: Escape from the Smithsonian,” also stars Amy Adams. Shawn Levy will direct the Fox project. Azaria has also joined the cast of Harold Ramis’ biblical comedy “Year One,” playing Abraham. The Columbia Pictures film stars Jack Black and Michael Cera.

I did not think this was a film that would lend itself to a sequel, but it made a lot of money and when that happens; a series is born. Hank is a voice actor on the Simpsons and can be seen in a host of TV and Film spots, he is a good character actor and it should be no problem for him to pull off an Egyptian Pharaoh. He joins the delightful Amy Adams, and Dick Van Dyke! Say what you will about this film having a sequel – the cast is certainly shaping up better than I expected.

Night At The Museum: 2 is scheduled for a release date of May 22, 2009 and like it or not – we will keep you on to speed on its progress.
