Messing-1
Will and Grace starlet Debra Messing has been cast to play the spouse of Leguizamo in Humboldt Park. We get the scoop from the caves of Yahoo:

In Alfredo De Villa’s film, Messing will play the wife of John Leguizamo’s character, who joins him on a trip to his parents’ home. Freddy Rodriguez, Alfred Molina, Jay Hernandez, Mercedes Ruehl, Luis Guzman, Melonie Diaz and Vanessa Ferlito also star.

Messing recently earned a SAG Award nomination for the miniseries “The Starter Wife” and will appear in a USA Network series version of the project in the summer. She also will be seen in Picturehouse’s remake of “The Women” in the fall.

Messing was great in Will and Grace, she was over shadowed by the insanely hilarious Megan Mullally, but her contribution is not to be scoffed. I like her as an actress and will always welcome her on board a project. She has a great “svelte” look, and when that is required, she should always be on the list.

It will be cool to see her work with John Leguizamo, this guy can act, do stand up, and probably knows how to tap dance. He is a very talented all around entertainer and has outstanding range. No word yet on when this film is to be released, but we will be sure to keep you up to speed.

Debra Messing like Julia Roberts minus charm, charisma and acting talent.

Debra needs to win an Oscar by doing an autobiography of Lucille Ball.
