And unless the ride involves me getting picked up and talked to by Optimus, not interested. A lot of theme park rides based on films are pretty shitty. I've gone to Universal Studios a lot of times for vacations, and I have yet to be impressed by any of those rides. They're too hokey. Jurassic Park's ride is decent at best, but Jaws, the recently closed Back to Future ride, and the recently closed E.T. ride are all crap. I shudder to think what they'd do with Transformers. Optimus looks mighty uncomfortable in that picture.

And unless the ride involves me getting picked up and talked to by Optimus, not interested. A lot of theme park rides based on films are pretty shitty. Which leads me to think that Canada's Wonderland would make an ideal park (since Paramount already owns it) and they need a "newer" ride. I've also heard that Wonderland will be making a move in the near future, and if that's the case, this ride could lead to a major "WE'RE NOW HERE" promotion. I love the ideas about having a TF be the actual "vehicle" riders will be in, but I'd say it's more likely going to be an Autobot, although it would be totally freakin' cool if you got to choose which "side" you're on and ride a vehicle of choice (either Autobot or Decepticon). One thing's for sure: there's gonna be a HUGE lineup for this ride! I've heard rumors for about 7 months of this exact "ride" at Universal Orlando. They've talked about it & people have been super hush, hush. It wouldn't surprise me if they opened it at Universal in FL or Hollywood. It's the perfect combination. Established theme part devoted to Movies & an Amazing Film that deserves an interactive adventure. If any of you have ever been on "The Mummy" ride at Universal...that is kind of what I expect from a Transformers ride. But I guess it remains to be seen.
