I still can’t get over the fact that a lil kid goes toe to toe with a minotaur and wins in the first film, a fucking minotaur! c’mon that minotaur should have trampled that kid a new asshole.

Silliness aside i did think the first film stuck by the book quite closely and i’m looking forward to Prince Caspian.

The BBC series skipped the Magician’s Nephew too. It looks like they are going by publication order. The Magician’s Nephew was the second last book to be published.

When I was about ten or so an animated version of The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe came out on, I think PBS. I can’t express enough my adoration and what that film meant to me.

The film version was very good indeed and well put together. IMO it was not nearly as good as the cartoon, but that is probably due to the way a child sees things so differently than adults.

Prince Caspian looks to be as good if not better than the first. My only pet peeve is that they may them out of order of the books I read. The Magicians Nephew was first in my version if I remember correctly and it made a lot more sense to the arc of the whole Narnia chronicles. You understand how all this came to be in the first place.
