  1. Rusty James says:

I knew you were going to say Michael Clark Duncan as soon as recasting BA Baracas came up. I don’t see it. He was okay in Daredevil but other than that he is a subpar actor who inspite of his size I just don’t find menacing or intimidating.

I’m not sure who I’d cast but I’ll think of someone.

  2. Yamo says:

I loved how you guys did todays uncut. You sould do it more.

  3. eanetdude says:

Great show tonight! I think the 3-camera set-up is not needed when it’s just John and Doug. So the single camera setup is good. Keep doing it. It’s a nice extra touch.

  4. wil says:

HAHAHA…I went to see Sound of Thunder just b/c I heard how bad it was. I wasn’t disappointed.

  5. Henrik says:

Doug Nagy your beard looks amazing.

  6. Vincent says:

I’d love to be able to play this video podcast on my iPod/NDSL/PSP….

  7. Bryson J says:

The video is awesome. Vincent is right it would be great for a podcast.

  8. Nec says:

This is the guy who should play BA Baracas: Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje A beast of a man.

  9. Jason Angel says:

    yes, love the video option!
i love the podcast, but just listening to the podcast, i have nothing 2 look at, without drawing away my attention.
but u dont need just the 1 camera.

P.S. wen r u guys gonna have Serena back?

  10. mike says:

I love the video!! Keep doing them!! Where is Darren??

  11. AjaxLou says:

@10 – Darren is back in Canada.

The one shot works fine though I must admit I surfed while listening to the show. Doug you have to wear long sleeves, those tats are too distracting!

Duncan would be a good choice for BA. I agree Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje is an excellent choice. He rocked in Lost.

I’m not too keen on a connecting movie between The Hobbit and LOTR. Especially if the intent is to bring cast members back from LOTR. The stories from that time period do not involve those characters so Jackson would have to conjure up material for the characters.

  12. Phil Gee says:

Hey Nec, that’s a pretty awesome suggestion actually. He might want to podge up a little though.

A video edition is always a good thing but i would love to see you develop it a bit more so that it really feels worth it to see you on screen. Not that i have any ideas what you could do right now…….actually i have one.

It might sound silly but in the future, when you’re going to discuss new trailers on the podcast, maybe you could hold on watching them for the first time till the show and then let us see you viewing the trailer on the video edition and getting your initial reactions right there and then. I think it’s worth a try; nobody else is doing it. You could try it out with the upcoming Indy IV & Incredible Hulk trailers.

And thanks for popping by Nowlive yesterday to say hello. It was really nice of you.

  13. Luis says:

    WHEN WOULD DARREN APPEAR_?

  14. Jake Vermont says:

    Hey guys

    @John
you did a great a job and it’s always intresting watching your body language too
it supports your discussion so i would appreciate a video option every time you do an Uncut

    Greetings from Bavaria, Germany

  15. UKAndy616 says:

Asylum could have made a better movie than A Sound of Thunder!

  16. Christopher Edwards says:

Brillant podcast as ever. Keep the cameras so i can look bus when i should be doing work

    Great site !!

  17. Red Steven says:

    Thanks for the shout-out, Nagy.

We watched Drunken Tai Chi last night. BMX-fu. Wish you could have been here.

  18. Kristina says:

That Bob Barker head was disturbing as hell:)

Doug shaking his head at the mere mention of Ice Cube was friggin’ hilarious.

The strike is a goddamn disaster.

  19. Dylan says:

I like the videocast, but it could use a few extra touches like the Bob Barker head. Maybe edit in some movie posters when you’re talking about specific movies, or even trailer clips. Might be a little too much work for you to put in, but it’d be cool.

  20. Jeff Razey says:

The podcast is better with video.

    GO SEAHAWKS!!

    Ving for MR T

Writers are making themselves the most hated people in the US! Right or wrong…

  21. Ethan says:

Definatley keep this movie podcast feature!
It’s easier to focus, instead of just hearing something you can see it too.

  22. Steven Carroll says:

Video is always a bonus. Nice to see who’s talking. It makes it more personal.

  23. rafa1215 says:

I loved the video. Find out how to add it to RSS so that I can watch the video on my pocket pc.

  24. Kristina says:

    @Jeff Razey

How ’bout them Packers, huh? Muahahahahaaa.

  25. Koko says:

    Hey Boys,

I’m pretty sure Broken Lizard had nothing to do with Reno:911 … I think your thinking of Super Troopers.

    Good podcast.

  26. Calviin says:

I absolutely loved the video. One camera is great and I would like to see it again.

  27. taylordubose says:

wasnt death sentence practically a remake of death wish?
