I agree, they should boost the effort into it and go for a theatrical release. I’d go see it in theater, hell most of my generation of 30-somethings would go see it for nostalgia sake. Could make some serious coin and pave a way for other 80′s sequels like Goonies, Breakfast Club and all the other ones they’ve been tossing around for years.

It is too bad this is going right to video. We won’t have a decent soundtrack – and if there was one, it wouldn’t get the push or airplay. (It’d be neat if they got Ego LIkeness to do a tune, though) Not many warmed up to surfing vampires, but then again, Vampires on the water…in the water…hmmm…

But it’s also helmed by PJ Pesce, who showed a lot of promise with the western “Desperate Trail” and I did enjoy the pacing of “From Dusk Til Dawn 3: Hangman’s Daughter”.

One last thing. Even though the intent is direct to DVD, Rod…it does not always mean it gives a license for filmmakers to do half ass work. I’ve seen theatrical releases that should have gone right to DVD, and straight to DVD flicks that deserved a better fate.

Then again, WB ain’t Fox.

lol. Goonies will always be fantastic. As for Lost Boys 2, I really don’t know. I enjoyed the hell out of first one ever since I was a small boy.

haha he looks exactly the same as he did in the other movie.

Is that the other Corey in the first pic? I can’t really tell. Just making sure because I wasn’t sure if he was in this one or not. Which would of sucked if he wasn’t.

I’m kinda excited about this movie, I liked the first one a lot.
