To release a toy in September at 99.99 about a movie that will have been forgotten before the second week in February (certainly after the Oscars) is poor marketing strategy. Are they waiting on the DVD release? I would be surprised if this wont be released on DVD come April or June.

I thought Cloverfeild was fine but I really could care less about marketing of it. I think it will fade away fairly soon.
