I am always game for a Superhero movie, and I just can’t get enough of Will Smith. So great news. Smith is staring in a superhero movie and I just LOVE the idea behind it.
The idea of a Hero who is really a real jerk who still manages to find it his responsibility to be a hero is just not what I expected from a hero flick.

The background music was AWFUL. Hate that damn song. Should have played Stronger by Kanye West if they wanted a rap song. At least that would have fit with the whole superhero thing. As far as the flick goes, Will Smith makes just about anything watchable. The only reason I could make it through Wild West West was because of him, but damn that thing was bad. Could this end up being another WWW? We’ll see…

lol yea WWW was indeed horrible. But the special effects in this look good and its a cool concept. WWW was just Men In Black without aliens in the West. I think this has potential cool concept, cool characters and Bateman.

I’m sorry, Kristina. I have to wholeheartedly disagree with you. Actually, I’m not sorry at all because this movie looks GREAT! I actually wasn’t too sure about it when I first heard the premise. It just didn’t make sense to me, but from seeing the trailer, it looks awesome. Can’t WAIT to check it out next summer. Long live Will Smith. He’s been like family to me and mine since the Fresh Prince of Bellair back in the day. And I still remember how me and my best friend back then use to play Bad Boys. I’d be Will and he’d be Martin or we would fight over who would be Will. haha.

bjon86, I think you might have misread what I said. I wasn’t saying that the trailer for Hancock was bad, I was saying that WWW was bad. I think Hancock has potential to be good, but I’m not totally sold just yet. Smith is fun to watch, but his movies are hit and miss with me. Bateman alone does nothing for me, especially after watching him stink up the joint in Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Hellhouse.

I worked on this movie and I’ll say it looks better than I even expected. There is so much more to it as well. I do think they could have made a better trailer and intro to the character but they are going for the light comedy aspect for now.
