Beyond a shadow of a doubt one of my favorite movie rumors of this past year was when word got out that Jurassic Park 4 as going to focus on the Dinosaurs becoming super intelligent and began carrying guns (assumably equipped by the government for military applications and then everything went horribly awry)!
Aside from that delicious story, not much has been heard about Jurassic Park 4 in quite a while. Many people, including myself starting thinking it just sort of slipped into the great movie abyss never to be heard from again. But according to the folks over at Moviehole, the producers are still working on it and still planning for a Jurassic Park 4 release date in 2009.
Producer Frank Marshall tells Coming Soon that as soon as the WGA strikes ends – if it ends – they’re going to continue working on the script. “There’s an idea and we just have to see if it shakes out.” The uber-producer – who’s also keen on doing a fourth “Bourne” film – says the plan is still to get the film into theatres by 2009.
The Jurassic Park franchise has been declining in quality with each film… but still… there is a certain “fun” factor to even the last 2 movies (any movie that has the monster actually GETTING the dog will always get my support). The series will never again capture that “Awe and Wonder” element that the first one gave us, but that’s ok. Give me a bag of popcorn and giant dinosaurs running amok through a contemporary metropolis and I’ll have a good Saturday afternoon.
Ok, quit dragging your feet, Jurasic park 4 is way over due. The only thing that has not been said is that it should obviously be in 3 D! If the director needs ideas email me, This movie will make millions!
why would a t-rex orso need a gun, please?
the only thing i could think of is for long distance.. whats next, going into space? making friends with starwars? maybe in 5 they’ll have those swords instead of guns.. maybe after that one of those things fucks a human, you’ll get a humansaure with some sharp theeth and just 2 fingers but a hugh set of balls and eyes on the side of his head. shit is just wrong..
O and if samuel L. jackson is that over weight guy who shut of the power of everything in that park with a virus then yeah hes dead i no that for a fact but i think i got the right guy im not shore though some one please reply to me if samuel L. jackson if thats him i no his name is dennis in the movie but i dont know if samuel s his real name so let me no hit me back up and let me no if i got the right guy thanks if you do hit me back up
I loved the gymnastics part. I am a level 9 gymnast so it is cool.
That is an awful little plot feature right there.
…But I’d still go see it because JP is basically my childhood and I’m a big JP fan….
The books are way better though.

I have been a fan of Jurassic Park since the 1st. I was only 8 years old when the first came out. The Jurassic Park movies is the reason why i chose to be a Palientologist my mind is set for another movie and to learn more, so with all things considered i will be front row at the Theater with a huge tub of popcorn watching what has to be the greatest movies ever made in the history of cinema. I am all for a JURASSIC PARK 4! SHOW ME THE DINOSAURS BABY, CAUSE I CAN’T WAIT FOREVER!!!!

Hopefully they have T-rex and spinosaurusses cause they are cool….i would pay a thound dallars to go see this film :) so it better come out with more goar and people to be killed..hahaha awsome

this plot is fake. Whoever did this wrote a very rediculous plot. Dinasours are wild animals i mean, how can the government train wild animals into eating , shooting monsters? REDICULOUS PLOT PEOPLE! REDICULOUS!

I’d like to see more of D-war kind of movie. Where the dino’s walk around the city with rocket launchers tied to their backs. Raptors using their intelligence..etc.
