Beyond a shadow of a doubt one of my favorite movie rumors of this past year was when word got out that Jurassic Park 4 as going to focus on the Dinosaurs becoming super intelligent and began carrying guns (assumably equipped by the government for military applications and then everything went horribly awry)!
Aside from that delicious story, not much has been heard about Jurassic Park 4 in quite a while. Many people, including myself starting thinking it just sort of slipped into the great movie abyss never to be heard from again. But according to the folks over at Moviehole, the producers are still working on it and still planning for a Jurassic Park 4 release date in 2009.
Producer Frank Marshall tells Coming Soon that as soon as the WGA strikes ends – if it ends – they’re going to continue working on the script. “There’s an idea and we just have to see if it shakes out.” The uber-producer – who’s also keen on doing a fourth “Bourne” film – says the plan is still to get the film into theatres by 2009.
The Jurassic Park franchise has been declining in quality with each film… but still… there is a certain “fun” factor to even the last 2 movies (any movie that has the monster actually GETTING the dog will always get my support). The series will never again capture that “Awe and Wonder” element that the first one gave us, but that’s ok. Give me a bag of popcorn and giant dinosaurs running amok through a contemporary metropolis and I’ll have a good Saturday afternoon.

I can’t remember if Sam Jackson died in the first one or not… but regardless if he did or not they can clone him and pitt him against Gun weilding Dinos… no-one would see that coming!

I can only assume JURASSIC PARK 4 is being planned as a post-strike film because we’ve heard absolutely NOTHING about it since…forever.
And the way films are made at such break-neck speed, this could still happen for Summer 2009!

I’d like to see more of D-war kind of movie. Where the dino’s walk around the city with rocket launchers tied to their backs. Raptors using their intelligence..etc.

Though I have emensley enjoyed all fo the previous movies the idea of dinosaurs with guns on there back shootng guys workin for the army I mean r we fxxxing 5 are these beast machines I mean it sounds like some kind of power rangers japaneese cartoon shit I would like a good proper jurasic park4 one with violence I alos think if the rating increases to …m.a… it will go all gay and supa gore and it would be like some z grade horor slash fest any ways I still look forward to the release and lets hope there r no dinoguns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!please coment

I do want this jurassic park 4 movie to come out badly….still there is alot of speculation that it may not….if that happened i would cry cause jurrassic park is the best movies ever made…..dinosaurs with guns??
Hopefully they have T-rex and spinosaurusses cause they are cool….i would pay a thound dallars to go see this film :) so it better come out with more goar and people to be killed..hahaha awsome
