I do not see Heath Ledger playing Joker, I see Joker, and that is a very good thing… his reckless abandon, his cocky attitude, smug… that shot of him firing the rocket launcher(or whatever) is so priceless… That is Joker to me. It looks like Ledger is going to hit this one outta of the park!

This trailer is going to make it hard to enjoy the winter season… I can’t wait to see this.

I don’t need this trailer anymore to make me more excited about that movie. DARK KNIGHT is already at No.1 on my most anticipated films of 2008 and nothing will change that.
HOWEVER…. I wouldn’t be me if I hadn’t one minor complaint:
70% of that trailer seems to be Bats riding around on his Bat-Bike. Hope they don’t feature it THAT much.
I don’t know if I would like that.
And I would have loved to see Harvey Dent.
Oh well, I guess this won’t be the last trailer.

Isn’t it amazing how we’ve all forgotten about Indy IV & Iron Man for a few days? I hope the other big movies deliver some great trailers because we need something to distract us. We can’t go this mental over a movie that’s still 7 months away.
Oh, and i doubt we will be seeing another TDK trailer until May (most likely attached to…..ugh, Speed Racer).

Am I the only one who thought that there was WAY too much of the BatCycle or MotoBat or only God knows what that stupid vehicle was? I mean, it showed up like five times!!!
Still, I am glad to see Morgan Freeman back and the joker looks cool…
Batpod. Many people have said they show it too much. I agree but I guess he gets good use out of it in the movie. Better than rampaging thru the city in his big clunky batmobile crushing cars and buildings.
I also want more Two-Face!

This trailer is astounding, I love it. I played it in an open access lab today in University, even the non Batman lovers were going “Wtf? Joker looks utterly insane! I gotta see this!”
ok guys, here’s the “CRAZY THEORY” du jour… it’s more like a concern, something that worries me a bit… but the white room you see, with a low ceiling where the Batmobile’s parked: at 1.14 and 1.22…? well, we heard Chris Nolan saying he was going “SUPER REALISTIC”, pushing it even further than “Begins”… right? I’m afraid this is his attempt to make the BATCAVE look and sound more realistic, to get away from the Bob Kane’s clichés… think about it, the Batmobile’s parked there, there is a secret elevator to get down to this underground facility, there are a few computers on the left corner and Alfred is seen talking to Bruce Wayne in this same room. (1.10 to 1.13) man! this isn’t Lucius Fox’s old office from the Wayne Enterprise building… it’s something else? could it be Chris Nolan’s take on the rebuilt “Batcave”?
I’m scared…
Whats to be scared about. Wayne’s mansion burnt down in the last film and Alfred hinted to Bruce about rebuilding the mansion like it was but making the batcave better. In other batman movies/comics/shows the batcave was always some hightech sorta room. Also, remeber, he put Lucious Fox in charge of Wayne’s business so Fox is probably doing whatever he can for Bruce.

Anywho, awesome trailer. We wanted The Joker, they are giving us The Joker. I like how we’ve not seen Two-Face or anyone else for that matter, makes the movie more exicting when not much is revlead
this triller was great and i now know heath leger is going to be fine as the joker and looks like they are finley brining the joker to the big screen the right way the way he is sapoed to be
From the stories I have heard that room is not the Batcave its a secondary base he moved to while the Manor is being rebuilt.

PS: Gosh!! TDK on IMAX, it’s a dream comes true man! I saw the original Batman in the summer 1989, same summer Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade came out… This summer, we’ll have TDK and Indiana Jones and The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skulls! WOW! it’s funny to see ho history repeating itself…
I already saw this trailer when I saw I Am Legend this weekend, but I had to comment. When this trailer came on in the theater and you see Batman on the bike, the whole theater went bazzzzzZURK! There was clapping and some “hell yea’s.” and at the end a fuckin round of applause! It was soooo fuckin AWESOME! I CAN’T WAIT FOR THIS. HEATH LEDGER IS “ROCKIN THE SHIT IN THIS ONE”
I don’t think I’m going to enjoy this film. It’s too bad I was having high hopes. The joker looks good, but I don’t feel it’s the joker.

Did anyone eles think that Heath sounded alot like Jack Nicolsons Joker: which isnt a bad thing and i know hes said that he’s no playing the role towards Jacks way, But i think it sound awsome and he looks brilliant as Joker, this is gonna be everything we wanted to see in the Joker, the part where hes leaning out the car window was funny as hell, proper Joker, And the line “Why so Seriouse” BRILLIANT! LOL And when Bats lands on the car rooftop WOWWEE AWSOME STUFF! CANT WAIT HOW LONG LEFT?? I THINK THE MOVIE BLOG SHOULD GIVE US A COUNT DOWN CLOCK WHO AGREES????????????????????????????????????????? BATS NEW WHEELS, AND JOKER KILLS CANT WAIT!
I wouldnt go as far as to say it doesnt “feel” like the Joker. Sure it doesnt feel like Nicholsons Joker or Romeros Joker, which to me is a very good thing. But it absolutely feels like “The Joker” to me. Just something different and a kind of reimagination, while still having the essence of the character.
Heath’s Joker is so much more sinister and creepy than Jack’s.
