Be Kind Rewind Poster

One of the coolest trailers I have seen as of late is for Be Kind Rewind. It is a quirky looking film about dudes that remake popular films and then rent out their work on VHS. This Monday morning we are made aware of the poster from our friends at firstshowing:

    looks fantastic.

  2. Tarmac says:

    I just can’t understand what Mos Def says when he talks at ALL. He mumbles every word, has an odd accent and to top it off doesn’t like to move his mouth when he speaks. He looks like a poor ventriloquist!

  3. DrTheopolis says:

    um, no. that poster is very poorly designed. and ugly to boot.

  4. I have learned to like Mos Def, but he indeed mumbles all the time. I liked it better when I read about it than when I saw the trailer… Still I’m there first night!

    I love this poster, it doesn’t look like a “movie poster” and it fits the sense of humor of the movie.
    Mos Def’s mumbling is part of his charm.

  6. Despite the fact this movie should have been made about 12 years ago I am really looking forward to this!

  7. cody says:

    yes I agree, I think is poster perfectly reflects the feel of the movie. Cant wait to see it.

  8. RustyJames says:

    @frankenwolftown
    why do you think this should’ve been made 12 years ago?

    The poster looks terrible. And so does the movie, so far. I love Michel Gondry’s previous work, but I think this movie will probably suck. It relies too much on its two stars and you’d have to be a big fan of them to enjoy all their reenactments, which are rather dull. Anyway, hopefully the movie will have a good story which will make up for all its other problems.
