New Abe Sapien Hellboy Poster

Abe is hands down one of the best “creature” characters I have ever seen in film. Doug Jones did such an amazing job acting out the character. From the way Abe walked to his fish like movement “tics” Jones made the character come to life, and David Hyde Pierce complimented his work wonderfully with outstanding voice work. HB:2 is a film I look forward to very much, and I am please to reveal unto you the new Abe poster, made available through our friends at moviesonline:

And the poster of Hellboy himself is at the offical site now:

It’s nothing new but it is nice to see him again.

I didn’t care for the first HELLBOY at all. I thought it was a very stupid movie actually and the action didn’t impress me the slightest.
HOWEVER: After watching PAN’S LABYRINTH (one of the best fantasy movies of the last 10-20 years) I’ll give anything by Del Toro a go. Let’s hope this profits from a bigger budget and cooler production design. The concept art looks very interesting.

  3. I think the first Hellboy was incredible. It took the very best of the characters, with a set of excellent actors. I can’t wait to see the 2nd round.

  4. Mike V says:

Abe looks great. Also, Doug Jones finally gets voice a character he’s playing (not counting the animated Hellboys).

  5. Kristina says:

Hellboy looks stoned on his poster:)

    And Abe looks GREAT!

    And Liz looks absolutely gorgeous!

  7. She has been always a big crush to me!
