My $$$s on Crowe accepting the part; Universal will probably sweeten the deal for him considering how he's getting them out of a bind. If that's the case, all power to him! Crowe's had a Helluva year so far with 3:10 TO YUMA and AMERICAN GANGSTER (easily up in the Top 5 on my "Best Films of 2007" list!) And I'm very much looking forward to BODY OF LIES and NOTTINGHAM.
