Amy-Adams-6Up and coming actress Amy Adams, has joined Frances McDormand to star in the drama, ‘Miss Guinevere Pettigrew.’

Moviesonline gives us these details about the film:

In the 1939-set romantic tale, Miss Guinevere Pettigrew (Academy Award winner Frances McDormand), a middle-aged London governess, finds herself unfairly dismissed from her job. An attempt to gain new employment catapults her into the glamorous world and dizzying social whirl of an American actress and singer, Delysia Lafosse (Academy Award nominee Amy Adams). Within minutes, Miss Pettigrew finds herself swept into a heady high-society milieu – and, by the end of the day, discovers her own romantic destiny.

Despite being nominated for an Academy Award in 2005′s ‘Junebug,’ Amy Adams was always one of those actresses I saw onscreen and drove me nuts, just because I couldn’t figure out where I had seen her before. (This was especially frustrating when I had seen her in ‘Talladega Nights.’)

Although, since her starring role in Disney’s ‘Enchanted,’ Amy Adams has now become a name and is quickly catapulting into stardom. Does this movie sound particularly interesting? Nope, not in the slighest. However, I’m sure that this role will attract many more roles for this talented young actress.

She was FANTASTIC in Enchanted. And I totally forgot that she was in Talladega Nights until you said it. Wow.
