It’s not even that funny when you really think about it… but for some reason this thing just made me laugh my fool ass off. Can’t explain why… it just did. SWORD FIGHT!
Ladies and gentlemen… Quentin Tarantino explains the single greatest screenplay in the history of Hollywood. TOP GUN!

John, you’re right. This wasn’t funny, but for some strange reason I laughed my ass off. They say he has a genius IQ… I can totally see that. Brilliant.

I bet roger avary wrote this…just like he did Res Dogs; Pulp Fiction etc… why do you think death proof got panned for it’s painful and shitty dialogue.

The Movie is called Sleep With Me http://imdb.com/title/tt0111218/ and the Top Gun speech has made it fameous. I love this speech, unfortunatly the quotes from Top Gun are modified to fit. Instead of “You can ride my tail any time” Iceman actually tells Maverick, “You can be my wingman any time.”

It’s a shame he says ‘fuck’ so many times. Otherwise this would actually be a great example to explain analysis to my first year students! (Um, first year University level, of course)

“The Gay Way” OMG I was laughing my ass off!
Damn, I forgot how hot Kelly McGillis was in that. Man, after Witness, did she just vanish off the face of the earth or what… :(

If nobody didn’t know, the guy on the right is Todd Field, the director of Little Children and In the Bedroom.

Hehehe. I thought Topgun was pretty gay when it first came out, but not for these reasons. :)

“Quentin Tarantino’s famous ‘Top Gun’ speech was originally written by filmmaker and friend, Roger Avary, for another project.”
What a surprise. Great speech, nonetheless.

Wasn’t that funny, but still a great homage to an all time classic. Tarantino can’t act as hell though.
Man, Top Gun was great. Far too few movies like that were made that time. All those old school Don Simpson/Tony Scott/Bruckheimer/Bay stuff… just way too few of them :(

I would of never come up to that conclusion… I’m starting to like Quentin
