Saw Marathon

This news is good for fans or newbies to the “Saw” series. Lionsgate Films has informed us that this October 25,2007, selected theatres will show all three ‘Saw’ films and end the marathon with a midnight screening of ‘Saw 4’ all for one price! Yup, you can relive all of Jigsaw’s shenanigans or you could watch all four films for the first time.
I think this is a great marketing tool for the upcoming ‘Saw’ film, and the fans are guaranteed to not be sitting beside someone who has not watched any of the previous films before and who constantly asking questions throughout the entire movie. (Don’t you hate that? Don’t you just want to punch the person for even going to the movie in the first place?)

A nice marketing tool but seriously we are not talking LOTR here. How many people are going to attend this? Very few I would hazard.
Am I the ONLY movie fan who has a soft (and bloody!) spot for the Saw films? (In particular the first one, LOVE that film).
