George Takei Roasting William Shatner

Movie Blog commenter Shane inspired me to go look up this video of George Takei at the William Shatner roast. I hadn’t seen it before… my dear sweet goodnes… this is hilarious. You can tell George will never be a stand up comic, he just doesn’t really have the delivery… but the material was GOLD.
My favorite part… George talking about Shatner’s acting: “If my partner sucked that hard, I’d never leave my Chateau”. Check it out and end your work day with a smile:

Yeah, I too thought it was funny. When I saw it a year ago.
Old news!
Dude,
If you haven’t seen the Shatner roast you really do owe it to yourself to see it soon!
It’s painfully funny, and painful at points, but a worthy tribute to Bill, and by far the best of the roasts they’ve done so far.
No insult intended, but was “I hadn’t need it before… my dear sweet goodnes… this is hilarious.” supposed to say that you hadn’t seen it before?
That said, I thought George was hilarious at the roast. He doesn’t have the best timing, but his voice just makes the delivery sound fantastic.

Yeah, welcome to 2006 John.
ZZZZZzzzzzz!
Oh yeah George is really funny in this. I think he made the show. No one was more funnier than him that night.
I told you………
Any public speaking engagment and George will rock it.
For anyone thinking he wrote his own material, Artie Lange spent hours helping him write his material. George is definitely funny though. His weeks on the Howard Stern Show are by far the funniest.
It smells like vagina in here…….I think.
Fucking classic
I still loose my shit every time I see that!!
God… this was fun fun fun… One of the best monologues.
Now… I have a theory, gay people are more fun than straight people, or maybe it is that there is no straight actors left.
