27 Dresses Trailer

Romantic comedies are kinda like jujubes. They’re really not all that good, they’re bad for you… but given the right moment you can actually enjoy them a lot. Katherine Heigl (Knocked Up) has a new one coming out called 27 Dresses which honestly looks like it could have some good laughs with it.

If the movie wasn’t already predictable enough on its own, the trailer pretty much gives everything away… which is fine since you don’t go to see romantic comedies for the deep plot. The synopsis looks something like this: “After serving as a bridesmaid 27 times, a young woman (Heigl) wrestles with the idea of standing by her sister’s side as her sibling marries the man she’s secretly in love with.”

Heigl is just amazingly beautiful… and she was serviceable enough in Knocked Up… but I’m not sure she has enough charisma or presence to carry a comedy on her own. Still… the trailer is pretty cute. Check it out:

Katherine is a wonderful actress she can definitely carry any movie – she certainly made Knocked Up…you got the feeling everyone else was just being themselves. She actually had to act.

Hopefully this movie will be good – and gives her another chance to shine. She has been great in Grey’s over the past three years and her Emmy was well deserved. I hope this turns out to be a fun movie..its not gonna win any awards but it looks like it could be entertaining.

And she is just THE most beautiful woman….

While Katherine is a pretty girl…she’s pretty and plain enough(in an adorable charming way)to suit the role. Knocked Up was entertaining. 27 Dresses looks like a nice cute little film. I think I’d like to see this. Heck I’ll even invite a guy or two to see it with me and see what they think. It should be fun.
