I think some of his off camera personal situations were unfortunate and I'm sure he regrets them now. Enough about it. The man already apologized for his lack of judgement and I am tired of hearing about it!! The press likes to go on and on about stuff. It's like beating a dead horse! That was yesterday, this is today. Let's focus on that. We all have made mistakes but at least the press wasn't there to pound on us about it. As far as his acting ability goes, he is wonderful and I'll see any movie that he stars in and pay full price at the box office too. I'll also buy the movie when it comes out on DVD. He is one of the very few that is worth it, in my opinion. It doesn't hurt either that he is easy on the eyes and his voice could melt a glacier. I have always liked Leonardo DiCaprio, but really enjoyed him in "Blood Diamond." I think he deserved Academy Award for his role in that. I think it's wonderful that two very good, yet very different actors will be in the same film. I am looking forward to when it comes out. I've already seen "3:10 to Yuma" and that was an excellent film. Russell really showed his masculine charm in that as well as a complex characterization of the Ben Wade.
