That’s a great little short. It’s from a nerd-oriented show called The IT Crowd, currently showing on BBC, in its second season. I highly recommend it.

Yea the IT Crowd is great. So they’re making a US version because just showing the British one obviously wouldn’t work.

And a little bit of trivia for ya; the narrator is an actor by the name of Peter Serafinowicz who you may remember from Shaun of the Dead as Pete and he was the voice of Darth Maul in Phantom Menace…..
…..and he’s from Liverpool (represent:))

I saw this episode, the next comment is “Now, they’re just getting mean about it”
Or at least words to that effect, I’m not sure (I’ve had a long shift)

To say this is a show about nerds is like saying Father Ted (by the same writer, incidentally) was a comedy about Catholicism… true, but seriously selling it short!
I’d be surprised if an American version could work, but that said they turned The Office into a beast of its own…

I despise those ads. They put them at the start of DVDs I have legitimately purchased and make them unskippable.
The first time I saw one at the cinemas, nice way to piss off customers that paid for tickets btw, I had to smirk as the person next to me had a bag filled to the brim with pirated DVDs she was handing out to her friends.
