Off To The 2007 Toronto Fan Expo

For the next couple of days, Serena, Rodney and myself (Doug sadly has to attend a family funeral and our thoughts and prayers go out to the Nagy family) will be at the 2007 Fan Expo in Toronto. We went to the fest last year and had just an amazing time. For those of you who may not know, the Fan Expo is actually 4 conventions rolled into one:
1) The Canadian National Comic Book Expo – Canada’s largest Comic book event
2) The Canadian National Sci-Fi Expo – Canada’s largest Sci-Fi Event
3) Rue Morgue’s Festival of Fear – Canada’s largest Horror festival
4) 2007 Gaming Expo – Yup… Canada’s largest gaming event
Lots to see and do, tons of celebs, some great screenings and a whole whack of stuff to needlessly spend your money on (you know that sweet ass Canadian Transformers shirt I wear once in a while… yeah… this is where I got it last year.
We’re brining our cameras and video camera so we’ll have lots to talk about over the weekend as we file our reports for you at the end of each day. Me and Michael from the great site MoviesOnline are going to be hooking up for lots of beer, and watching the UFC fights on Saturday night too… so that should be fun.
Are you going to the Fan Expo? Keep an eye open for us as we’ll be walking around the convention all weekend. If you see any of us, don’t be shy… come up and say “hello”.

As a fan of the MMA sport, I’m really looking forward to UFC 74. My money is on Randy Courture but I’m bias since I respect the hell of this guy. The GSP vs Koscheck will also be an exciting fight. Whats your take on the fights?
Does this mean that there isn’t going to be a show tonight, or the Expo doesn’t interfere with that?
