You are kidding, right? You do know that there is a town in Maryland named Chevy Chase. In fact it was founded 25 years before Cornelius Crane Chase was born. I have a feeling that there might be more of a connection to the town in Maryland more than the guy from SNL, Fletch, etc.
Don’t get me wrong, I think the actor/comedian is hilarious and I love his movies, I just don’t think he is THAT good!

Why do you think somewhere in the early ninties Chevy Chase just stopped being funny?
Was it something in the water or was it jusy age.
Do people just not want to see a 50 year old doing pratfalls.
And since Chevy never really went the dramatic route, did he just stop being relevant?
