    Hi Guys,

Got a question I was hoping you could answer: Summer 2007 is probably the biggest summer for movies in the last 5, if not 10, years. Transformers, Fantastic Four 2, Spider-man 3, Shrek The Third, Pirates: At World’s End, Evan Almighty, Hostel 2, Die Hard 4, and more all are going to hit beginning in early May and guarantee strong box-office returns throughout the summer months well through August. Obviously, studios are banking heavily on these tentpole projects.

My question is this. What do you think we can expect for the fall, Both in terms releases and box-office returns? Will the wasteland of the post-summer season be the same or even worse than usual (since most studios will be making their goals over the course of the summer)?? or do you think the studios will hope to continue the momentum of the summer and release some solid stuff, looking to bring in banner year profits?

Just wondering what your take is. Thanks, guys, can’t wait for the show.

  7. CJ says:

Oh, I should have clarified. Can you address this question during the show?

  15. bertbelgium says:

hey john, these live shows, are they going to be available for download??

  16. Allen says:

Umm John I think you have the roles reversed on the poster. You should be Murtaugh since you are always the in control leader guy of the group and Doug totally should be Riggs since I’ve always kinda pictured Doug as someone who shot first and asked questions later.

    Sometimes I think too much.

I just listened to the show….good stuff but one thing..when you talked about sequels that don’t keep the tiles in numerical order and you complained about the new die hard not being called die hard 4 in north america…..well this is a franchise that is not new to giving the films stupid titles….they have already broken the order thing with the third one. there is no such thing as die hard 3….it was called die hard with a vengance -..I personally don’t care about whether they keep numbers but if they could at least come up with better titles….
