Jennifer Hudson Gets it Her Way

Jennifer Hudson has been getting a lot of attention lately for her fued with Simon Cowell. Let me remind you that Simon recorded a special video that was played to Hudson immediately after she left the stage with him singing her praises, and that he expected to see big things from her. All that aside, her snide defense to Cowell’s assumption that she should have thanked him actually did earn herself something.
TMZ.com reports:
Hudson reacted to Simon Cowell’s criticism of her for not thanking “American Idol” in her Oscar speech. She reportedly snapped back, “If I’d been any better at my job when I was at Burger King in my middle teens, I wouldn’t be here either, so should I thank them, too?” Hudson worked at the BK on East 87th and State Street in Chicago. Burger King was her first job at age 16, where she worked with her sister, who claims she sang while working the drive-thru and flipping burgers.
In an exclusive statement to TMZ, Burger King responded to Hudson’s beef, assuring her that no thanks is necessary, and awarded her with BK for life
So now Hudson never has to pay for anything at Burger King. Ever.
Gossip magazines were reporting that shortly after Hudson received her Oscar Nomination she was seen at a BK commenting to the girls behind the counter that she once did their job. She said some encouraging words about dreams etc, then declined a free order of fries because she needed to fit in her dress.
There is your reward. Burger King was the blunt end of that comment and still they shimmied up her leg to offer her a prize. They are the ones thanking HER for mentioning where she came from.
I wonder if she will use it?

Burger King for life? She hit the jackpot! This is bigger for her than winning an academy award was.
Just because she won an Oscar doesn’t mean she will have a great career ahead of her…so, maybe in a year or two this unlimited gift card will come in handy.

Bottom line, if not for American Idol she would be using her employee discount at the BK lounge. She needs to recognize!!

At least BK showed some class by acknowledging no thanks was neccessary. If Cowell had any class he’d thank Hudson for hleping rehabilitiate the image of a show who, this season, has earned a reputation for not treating it’s talent with respect. Hudson doesn’t owe AI, Cowell owes her.
Let’s see if he has any class and gives her some thanks.
Give me a break, the last thing American Idol needs is any help from her ungrateful ass.
Also, Simon has very little in the way of class regardless of this situation, and I have seen no disrespect to anyone who has talent on this seasons show, there are maybe 3 or 4 people that have any talent whatsoever, this is easily the worst Idol talent wise that I have ever seen.
