Carol Anne i don't know but it should be someone ho we think she would of looked like as an Adult but please not Hilary Duff which is who i heard they are looking at don't disgrace Heather by using Hilary.Dan The oldest Daughter i say Rose McGowan or Neve Campbell.
Betty White would a make a great Tangina.

The first movie is a CLASSIC. It was ture horror back in its day; horror movies from that period were extraordinary work that were well put together, earning praise and recognition from those of us who watched them.

Two more sequels, fine. The 3rd one really didn't fit in with the storyline, as Carol Anne was dumped off at Aunt Pat's without explanation. I didn't think it was that scary; we needed more than what we were given in terms of jumping out of our skin, like the clown, tree, and Carol Anne being pulled into her closet. That was scary. The third film seemed too predictable.

Recasting Carol Anne would be an insult to Heather and her family, because she IS Carol Anne. However, logical sense would be to have Carol Anne as a deceased mother, and her daughter live with Uncle Robbie. Her daughter would be haunted by Kane and not understand what is happening. Uncle Robbie would then have to make a choice to help his sister's child or save his own family....

I would love to see another sequel of the Poltergeist series. I cannot wait what ever happened to the character Carol Anne left off. I heard that Hillary Duff might play the character, but it could be either Selena Gomez or Venessa Hudgens? Let's see what it turns out.

No, they NEED to go back and remake the first one in 3-D and change it up a bit! Make it scary as all-get-out. Anyone remember House I and House II with William Katt? Then, you have The Amityville Horror. I know they can surpass The Amityville remake in earnings! If they can remake My Bloody Valentine in 3-D as they ARE doing now, then they can surely make Poltergeist fly this time! Then, after they remake Poltergeist in 3-D, they can follow up with sequels and prequels and change things a bit. They are even making a Ghostbusters III and got all the people from the first two to come back except Rick Maranis from Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. He's retired is what a friend told me.

I think it's a great idea to do the sequel of Poltergeist. The last two sequels were major dissapointments, but let's see it the forth is 4x's the real charm. With the computirized special effects and great stuntwork around. Let's see it will live up the hype. But, let's forget the Jaws and Basic Instinct sequels.

If Poltergeist 4 were to go into production; I think a more ideal storyline would be to revolve around Carol Anne's brother Robby Freeling. Perhaps put in a twist that he became a paranormal expert and ghost hunter based upon his experiences as a child in the first two movies. Of course; the script can build off of that simple base.

You want to know something, I really don't think they should make Poltergeist 4 and here's my reason. Now the first movie, it laid the ground work and was full of exitment because it was so creepy more then any other movie in years and it was so graphic. The tree part worked perfect too, the movie was kind of action packed. The second movie, what I have to say is that it did a great job, it was scary, fun, and had some cool effects. The thing is, it's scary but least scarrier then the first movie but this movie is still one of my favorite even though they could have been the same. It's not the changed story line, It just was supposed to be better but wasn't and they just felt like they had to turn down the creepy volume a bit I saw. And now the third movie, this one I say had to be the least scarriest of the entire series and this was nothing great. I mean some parts were ok, but you see what happens with sequels, things go hectic. These are my reasons why Poltergeist 4 won't work. I mean don't get me wrong about Heather O'Rourke, she played a cute child and still did good with her character. But bits of the story in the third film were nothing better. Anyway the series is over, so there isn't going to be a fourth movie. Since the second and third were least scarrier, they should keep it this way and not move on with the series. Go ahead and make more Poltergeist movies, but you will screw up much worst I'm pretty sure. That's all I have to say, good day!

I think it would be a good idea to make a 4th installment to kind of close out the story. remeber, the very last second of part 3.. kane started laughing and lightning struck or something? I say they make the 4th and call it a day. by the way, I hold the rights to poltergeist4.com
and I was contacted by a party affiliated with MGM asking me my intentions of selling it, so i put it up for sale, perhaps they are inquiring because they may do a film after all? we will just have to wait and see.
