oh…thanks for the info Toni…the fight scene itself could’ve been alot beeter imo, but yea george has been fuckin up recently. the background story before a new hope had the potential to be something relly special, but he made three of the most disappointing movies ever since the matrix revolutions

I think if written well, Indy’s age could be a ‘fun’ part of the story….’Im to old for this sh@%!’
Even cooler if they could write in a side kick to pass the ‘adventure’ on to. Some new Indy type character to get us to go see those types of movies again.
But do we even need this film. Didn’t they end on a high note. Spielberg was smart enough to walk away from an ET sequel.
Oh, and about Indy IV- it sucks that George killed it before it began, but let’s get serious here. Even if they were able to make it 2 years ago or even 5 years ago, Harrison Ford isn’t exactly a spring chicken anymore. He’s what- 65?
If they were really serious about this, they should have made Indy IV 10 years ago, while Ford can still run and jump without breaking a hip.

I agree with you on that Episode 3 was as disappointing as the other 2 prequels, but as far as Anakin and Obi-Wan facing off in a lava planet, that wasn’t something Lucas came up with recently. That’s actually mentioned in one of the original books (I can’t remember if it was A New Hope, Empire, or Jedi). From what I recall, technically Anakin was supposed to fall in a volcano.

once again sir george destroys a movie with the potential to be truely great because of script problems. First he reins episode 3, im not a super star wars geek (the only good one was empire) but the story of vadar turning evil could have been CLASSIC. but because of script and acting and a crappy last fight scene (lava, what is this a platform game) it was medicore. then speilburg himself says the script was good and stupid ass lucas turns it down. I think all that money has made him psycho, even his colbert report video sucked. lol

i think lucas should just cook up a new universe, map out a storyline, and get someone else to write the script.
