I remember seeing some of the special on holidays on New Zealand TV back before the internet.

Not a single person believed me that there was such a movie.

Thank you internet for proving I wasn't hallucinating.

Finished watching Transformers: The Movie. Forgot the holiday special even existed.

BTW, Campea has every reason to be upset over Prime's fate! I knew what was coming, but I couldn't help but think, "You BASTARDS!"

Darren, I hope that you meant that the Ewok Adventure, and Battle for Endor came out after Jedi, because in official chronology, the events there took place BEFORE RotJ.

The only reason Wormwood saw this movie to begin with is because I showed it to him. And it was never viewed again.

I still own it. But only just to say I do.

The Muppets/Star Wars crossover episode was more enjoyable.

But about the Wookie Holiday: The road to hell is paved with good intentions. I wonder what would have happened if the script hadn't been meddled with, and orginal director David Acomba hadn't been fired by the producers due to "creative differences". (Acomba went to USC with Lucas and they were friends). CBS, Gary Smith-Dwight Hemion Productions and new helmer Steve Binder strayed way off Lucas' story and intent. The end result was television infamy.

I remember as a kid tuning in only to see the intro to Boba Fett, only to be disappointed. The Kenner plastic doll recall got more buzz.

But I still cut Bea Arthur some slack... her scene, as nice as it was, dancing with a Rodian (Greedo's knd) was just that. But it still didn't belong. It's like a jigsaw piece in the wrong puzzle.

Let's not celebrate the two post- "Jedi" Ewok films either...

I didnt even know that this existed. And now i am almost blind. What the HELL were they thinking? You know, in recent years my respect and admiration for George Lucas has dropped quicker than the iraqi stock market... But, in the end, i always said to myself and others "He gave us the Original Star Wars Trilogy... an almost instant classic" and he was sort of 'saved'. But this... this is just... shameful. Instead of having just a teensy tiny bit of something left, i now feel that G.L. owes ME something. Money, an apology, a deep cleansing spa treatment... i dont know... poor poor George.
