Granted nowadays most remakes are Horrible, given the dismal results of not only the Dukes of Hazzard, Charlie's Angels but Starsky and Hutch too (What crack was the director smoking to cast Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson!?) Remakes that stay true to the source material and with the right people working on it that believe in the story and characters (not trying to Lampoon it) can be successful. I.E. LotR, superman returns, X-men, ect. Theres tons of Source Material for Thunderctas, one need only look. And if you want to talk about hoaky T.V. cartoons, THEY ALL ARE! But in every story (no matter how hoaky) Theres always a good story to be found. One only needs to Write one out from the materials available. Like taking yarn and making a Sweater, you dont keep all the parts of the yarn, but you make the sweater with the best bits and staying true to the Pattern. Yes the story of the T.C.'s is a realativly simple one, but simple story's give you the ability to fill in the gaps, and GET RID of the Hoakyness. If they introduce ThunderCats properly like they did with He-mans new series but Market it Properly they could build A powerfull franchise that would be a staple in the WB universe, on par with Superman "WBs SpiderMan" "BatMan WBs Hulk" and ThunderCats "WBs Xmen or Fantastic Four" Then there would finally be a segway to a Big Budget Live action Movie and Video Games etc There must Be something we can do Please Help!
