Rocky 6 Trailer

Well here it is folks, the Rocky 6 trailer (aka "Rocky Balboa").
You know, I said it before but I’ll repeat it here.¬† I never liked the idea of either another Rocky film or another Rambo film… but I’ve got to give credit where credit is due.¬† Everything I’ve seen and read about Rocky 6, including this Rocky 6 trailer, has made me do an about face.¬† Rocky 6 has won me over and I’m oficially really looking forward to it.
They just seem to be doing everything right with it.¬† From the approach, to the marketing and the feel.¬† I like the fact that they really acknowlege Rocky’s age in it and how that is probably the key element to the film.¬† The Rocky films were never about Rocky vs. Apollo, or vs. Clubber or vs. Drago.¬† The Rocky films were always about Rocky verses himself and his own personal challenges.¬† Now the challenge is age and wanting just a taste of that glory again.¬† PERFECT!

I’m officially pumped
I got a warn and good feeling seeing the trailer, and seeing the vert short clip of him running up the stairs in Philadelphia was just awsome. Someone said this sequel is as unncessery as Basic Instinct 2, but i have to disagree with that person. i can’t wait
this is going to be the ultimate feel good, do anything film.
im diggin it,feels like the right time to revisit the rocky world.
I can’t say I am exactly excited, but it does look fun from the trailer. Should be worth a watch in my opinion. I personally want to see Rambo IV ,now that should be funny.
Me too! I love the Paulie line about Rocky peaking in the previous post. This one really does it for me.

yeah… she’s dead in this movie. She’s doesn’t make an appearance in the film.
Well, that’s a bummer. Dare I say it? “Aaaaaadriaaannnn!” ;)
The trailer does look interesting. At least Mason Dixon doesn’t look ‘roided up, and it looks to be a speed over power ’bout as indicated by the fighter’s physique and the dialogue.
You know John, I felt the same way. When Rocky 6 was announced I was like, who cares!
I mean I loved the original and the sequel and 3 weren’t bad, but to me Rocky was the best, filled with great characters, emotions and roaring spectacular ending. But when you start talking about the rest, especially after 3, I just didn’t care anymore.
But this teaser looks spectacular and it certainly gets my juices going!
Yeah I am looking forward to this!
To be quite honest, I’m not excited about seeing this movie, even after watching the trailer in theatre. I don’t know, maybe this movie is more appealing to guys, but this movie doesn’t have me pumped at all.
I’m really getting tired of the ‘he’s old and crippled but he comes back as a fighting champion’ movies that seem to come up these days. The only movie I /ever/ enjoyed and loved that had such a theme was ‘Cinderella Man’. Cinderella Man was really compelling, and there’s no way the new Rocky is going to even come close.
Then again, I’ve never seen a full Rocky movie from start to finish, so who knows, I may like this movie after all. Overall, I’m having iffy, but definitely leaning towards the bad opinions.

I didn’t care one way or the other at the news of a new Rocky movie. But after seeing the trailer before Pirates, I am definatly in the “wanna see it” camp.
Cool trailer! I’m gonna see Rocky 6 at the cinemas because I’ve been a Rocky-fan since I was a kid. However, the doctor in Rocky V said to Rocky that he will die if he box again because he’s brain has been suffering from too many heavy blows. That’s my main objection.
And I was looking forward to seeing an asian-looking boxer, like Box Lee or something ;) It would be cool with some change. I hope Rocky will win! Strange that his son doesn’t box. I would box if Rocky was my dad, or perhaps I wouldn’t, I’m not sure. Muhamed Ali’s daughter is into boxing, and he was the greatest (besides Rocky).
The cool thing is that the guy that plays Mason Dixon is gonna meet Mike Tyson in a real fight later on. Thanks for a nice site, John! I’m glad it worked out with Paramount!!

I’m in. The idea of another ‘Rocky’ movie seems ludicrous, but I’m buying in after that trailer. Plus, consider that Stallone is 60 YEARS OLD. Dude looks great. A marvel of modern medicine/nutrition/surgery/whatever.
There’s no way it’s better than Rocky IV.

stallone is a absolute stud, and the best action movie star of all time. He should be given a throne next 2 god. FUCK STAR WARS. the rocky series is going 2 be the best 6 movie series of all time, and will own in theaters. i will see it at least 3 times, so there already 30 dollers in to it NIGGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This movie gave me goosebumps i can’t wait to check it out , and best of all it’s sort of realistic

It a’int about how hard you can hit, but about how hard you can get hit and keep movin forward…………… c’mon this is every fourty plus mans dream of how they should enter their twilight years. i like rocky series i have been waiting 4 long time 2 c da 6 part of rocky i m excited about this movie i hope it would be done well like as rocky 4 i will c 1 day 1 show
i saw rocky6 last night and i have been a rocky fan from the very start of the first one since i was 5 years old. i loved all the rocky films exept for rocky 5. in my opion rocky 6 should have been 5. 5 seemed to have been rushed and slapped together;with no serious thoght or real effort. all thogh the steet fight in 5 capurded a combination of rockys boxing skills it also showed us as viewers the real deal sreet fighting skills rocky also never really seen much with the exeption of thunder lips aka hulk hogen in rocky3. for real rocky fans to apprieciate these films of course the fights are 85% of reason why we fans see rocky the other 15% of the reason is the story line and the anticapation of wanting and waiting for rockys awaitng challenge or challenges yet to come throgh out the 30 years of rocky. however the story line is still very important in 5 yes we want to see rocky kick some ass or go the distance but if your in the theartre watching 5 as i remembered in 1990 the story draged alot.i remember thinking to myself in 1990 after the 5 was over i said to myself that 5 was poorly done in story line and having to wait for a fight was the longest hour an a half i ever waited for a rocky fight. but with 1 2 3 4 and even 6 i enjoyed the storyline the time for rocky to finnally fight was much more meaningful and kickass because the story did’nt drag it was and still is interesting in 1 2 3 4 6 not 5. in a nut shell 6 should have been 5. alex g from bklyn ny go for it rocky!!!

When first hearing of another Rocky sequel, I asked myself, what could possibly be the story line? Will Rocky’s son step into the ring and earn his fathers respect? or will Rocky train the next champ again?
Much to my suprise, Rocky 6 is not a story of a former 2 time heavyweight champion, it is a story about the human condition. It is about getting old and proving to yourself and others, that age has nothing to do with accomplishing the impossible.
Rocky is depicted as a man in his 50′s, but in actuality Sylvester Stallone is 60 and in great shape for his age.
The movie is very nostalgic and although the training does not get you as psyched as Rocky 1-4. This film still has the Rocky formula, with only 7 minutes of fight time near the end of the film, it is just one minute shy of the original Appollo Rocky fight, but yet still effective.
You almost have to ask yourself, will Rocky continue this legacy with his son stepping into the ring? After all his son in the film is unemployed, and If This film makes a lot of money, Sly might want to
consider it, but on the other hand, Let Rocky retire in all his glory.
All the Rocky movies are great……………………….. Actually i was soo excited when i heard about the new Rocky film….. I think that it will be great sucess….. its great to see rocky again….
