Building The Ark For Evan Almighty

Forget a CG ark. It’s looks like the creators of Evan Almighty (with Steve Carrell in the follow up to Bruce Almighty) are busy actually building an ark for use in the film. Joel sent me a links to these pictures of the construction.
I’m a huge fan of CG in films (when done right), but sometimes nothing beats the feel of having a hands on REAL set or props. Holy crap this boat is HUGE (even if it’s not exactly to ark scale).

Love the fact they are actually building out of wood rather than computer chips! I am just curious to see how the movie handles God’s supposed promise to never flood the earth again.
