Johnny Cash’s daughter walks out of biopic

JoaquinPheonix-JohnnyCash.jpgKathy Cash is Johnny Cash’s daughter, and she’s supposedly angry at the movie portrayal of her mother and family life in the Johnny Cash biopic Walk the Line. She’s so unhappy that she walked out of the movie five times…did she keep going out the door and into another cinema? Did she think that the movie had alternate endings or something?

The only thing I can think of is that she walked out, then walked back in. Perhaps the Studio reps managed to persuade her to go back in, and that’s got to mean those guys are good, persuading her to go back in four times? It’s either that, or as Cinematical say, they’re getting great free publicity and controversy. Are we that cynical?

  1. You should mention she walked out because of how they portrayed her mom. She has an intimate understanding of her mother that no one outside of her family has and will obviously find things she doesnt agree with. This doesnt really mean it’s a bad moive or anything.

  2. Didn’t Johnny Cash give them his blessing before he died? Maybe being both of her partents died within months of each other, it may have been to much for her. Her grief is still to strong.
