It’s no secret around here that I was a big fan of the latest Star Wars “Revenge of the Sith“. So as you can imagine I’m counting down the days to November 1st when the Revenge of the Sith DVD gets released into my grubby little hands!
One of the best things about all of the newsest Star Wars films has been the revolutionary and truly extensive features on the DVD’s. There are always hours and hours of extras with cut scenes, behind the camera footage, “making of” documentaries, multiple comentaries and so much much much more. When it comes to the production of the DVD, Lucas really goes above and beyond for his fans (now if he only did that for the actual movies themselves).
The good folks over at Coming Soon give us a little glimps into what we can expect fromthe new Revenge of the Sith DVD:
Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith hits DVD on November 1 and the New York Post talked to George Lucas about what kind of deleted scenes we can expect.
“Most are Senatorial in nature,” Lucas said, “Some are about the conspiracy, in terms of starting the Rebel Alliance. But mostly there’s lots of beautiful costumes!”
Hmmm… not giving away much there is he? Not to worry, I’ve been assured that there will be TONS of goodies on the DVD. November 1st gets closer and closer everyday. Joy!

It was really funny. I havnt seen Episode 3 but i think it was a spoof of when Anakin was on some kind of lava planet (i dont kno the name) with Padme. Im hoping it will be on the ROTS DVD as a hidden feature or something.

When the 2005 MTV Movie Awards was aired it featured a very funny short spoof of Star Wars Episode 3. Does anyone know if it will be on the ROTS DVD?
