I think it’s safe to say that the vampire genre of movies is almost over. You can usually tell such things when the scripts are rolling out on one idea and they start to really scrape the bottom of the barrel, and here they most definitely have. Vampires controlled by the FBI? Oh surely this is just like a Government sanctioned Nightstalkers story? Is this script getting to the low point of the Vampire genre?
I overheard a board room meeting on the next wave of vampire flicks – I could get in big trouble for telling ya’ll but what the heck…
A group of young Vampires get together rent a beach house and try to get lucky. Another movie follows a group of Vampires who find a mysterious ring and have to destroy it before the most evil of the dark lords gets it back and reigns terror upon Middle Ear.. I mean New Jersey! And last but not least a group of Vampires fly out into space and get trapped on their ship by a giant bug like alien and it turns out one of them is the son of a evil space tyrannt and then horrible zombie monkeys attack them!
Don’t worry Vampire flicks are in good hands these days… =)
Oh wow. Ok, trying to stay positive… PERHAPS the idea could give way to some neat plots concepts….
