Doom set photos

Don’t get too excited, there’s nothing showing any creatures or action yet, but there is one shot of a nice big minigun, hopefully promising lot’s of big shooting and explosions. Unfortunately though, there’s no real meat to be seen yet. The sets look good though, and with some Post Production they’ll no doubt look darker and broodier.
Probably the most interesting thing to come out of the set pics fromGamespy through JoBlo is that one of the characters will be named after John Cormack, the lead character. Woo. Big cheer. (That’s sarcasm) I’d actually like to see something substantial from this movie and get some real feel of what it’s going to turn out like. Especially considering all the fans fears to date and all the changes from the game. Thoughts so far on the pictures?

This isn’t Doom. Doom has demons from Hell coming coming out of “teleportation gates” on Mars.
It’s like spitting in John Cormack’s face to name someone after him – when they take this story and turn it into Resident Evil with The Rock.
I want to see it because it has The Rock and Karl Urban in it.
