  1. well i have seen this film and let me tell you, it’s great! i had a stitch in my side the whole time, non-stop laughs from start to finish, u’ll all love it!!

  2. The movie opens in the states on the 24th of september i think. Saw the commercial for shaun of the dead on a plane to london and it’s driving me nuts that i can’t just go get the dvd. Who in the world ever decided to put regions on DVDs anyway? God bless you guys.

  3. Yeah Boyee!!

How’s that for a slice of fried gold?

ps, those of you in the US can write to your favourite tv stations asking them to play “Spaced”.

  4. I had a dream about “Shaun Of The Dead” last night… that I was watching a new trailer that featured some zombie romance. It culminated in a claymation musical number about how to make the perfect zombie movie and Wong Kar-Wai was namedropped.

I really need to stop reading this blog. You guys are screwing with my subconscious.

  5. Jason, go to DVD Hacks and look up your DVD player….That’s how my player is now region-free….

Anybody have any word yet as to the American release date? I’ll get the British DVD, no sweat….But I still wouldn’t mind paying my 7 bucks to get into the theatre and watch it….After watching “Spaced” (region 2 DVD, I might add), Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright have earned every single cent I throw their way…..

  6. Jason: Technically, none of us on this side of the pond can see the movie. But where there is a will there is a way. And man is it good. Oh, sorry. Don’t want to deepen that wound of yours. Heh heh.
But perhaps what you need to do is invest in an all-region player and join the ranks of satisfied international DVD viewers. Wow your friends and the local bowling alley harlots with your DVD prowess.
Okay, having an all-region player doesn’t get you the babes but you can at least watch a whole lot of them in their natural enviroment before anyone else can.

  7. Would you guys quit talking about this movie….I can’t see it yet and its driving me bonkers. I wish I knew someone oversea’s that could send it to me on DVD….I’m going to kick my parents in the ass for moving to the middle of “No Cinema” Land…….
